The Company:

4 Cladding Services Ltd, based at the Gateway to Humberside Trading Estate in Gilberdyke, supplies premium vacuum lifting equipment to the UK’s roofing and cladding sector. Their vacuum lifting equipment is available for both hire and sale, helping contractors improve safety, speed and efficiency on site.

The Challenge:

As demand for their specialised equipment grew, 4 Cladding Services faced a lack of available workshop space. Bulky equipment which doesn’t require a power supply to operate, and was taking up valuable space in the busy workshop area.

They urgently needed a way to free up space for their team to work safely and efficiently. However, moving this high-value equipment outside posed a risk. The machinery had to be kept completely dry and sheltered from wind and rain to prevent rusting and deterioration. Additionally, moving equipment outdoors created a security risk, meaning any new storage solution had to be highly secure and fully enclosed.

The Solution:

To resolve their space constraints without compromising on the safety or condition of their equipment, 4 Cladding Services turned to Zappshelter.

We installed a heavy-duty, structurally engineered and customised Zappshelter, measuring 14m wide x 12.2m (40ft) long. To ensure the equipment remained completely dry and secure, the shelter was fully enclosed, featuring a robust back panel and a custom front panel equipped with an electric 3m x 3m steel roller shutter door. The team also opted to include a guttering system for managing water runoff.
