Allstone Speedy Skips: Adapting to New Environmental Regulations

The Client:

Allstone Sands Gravels Aggregates Trading Co. Ltd. (operating as Allstone Speedy Skips) provides essential waste management and aggregate services. In September 2025, the team needed a dedicated green waste bay for their operations. To meet this requirement, we installed a 14m x 6m Zappshelter, complete with a partial rear end wall mounted directly onto their existing concrete blocks. Alongside their new heavy-duty Zappshelter, Allstone already had lighter-duty shelters from another supplier on the same site.

The Challenge:

When business needs change, your infrastructure must keep up. Recently, the Environment Agency introduced new requirements stipulating that Allstone needed to fully enclose their operations to remain compliant. Faced with these updated regulations, Allstone had to upgrade and enclose their site storage quickly and effectively. With both a Zappshelter and competitor structures on site, they had an important choice to make on who to call to handle the necessary modifications.

The Solution:

Thankfully, the team at Allstone had been so impressed with the superior quality and durability of their original Zappshelter that they came straight back to us! Rather than just upgrading our own structure, we returned to the site to retrofit full end walls and sliding curtains onto ALL of their shelters – including the cheaper, lightweight shelters provided by the other supplier. This ensured the entire site was brought up to the new standards using trusted Zappshelter components.
