How to Increase Productivity: Advanté’s Zappshelter Story

The Company:

Established in 1960, Essex-based Advanté, is a leading welfare cabin supplier specialising in sustainable solutions onsite. To ensure that all their clients receive the same exceptional service, Advanté reconditions all their units in-house to  ensure they are to the highest standard.

The Challenge:

The great British weather (aka – rain) isn’t ideal when you’re needing to paint outdoors! Advanté faced the challenge of maintaining their reconditioning schedule regardless of the unpredictable weather conditions. Their team needed a large, covered space where they could work safely and efficiently on their welfare cabins, carrying out repairs and respraying units to maintain their quality appearance. They needed a solution that could be implemented at their depots in Bristol and Loughborough.

The Zappshelter Solution:

Advanté invested in Zappshelters for their Bristol and Loughborough depots. Each Zappshelter was a container-mounted shelter with a 14m span and a length of 12.2m (40ft). This design provided a substantial covered area, creating a large workshop space for the Advanté team. Mounting the shelters on containers offered a cost-effective and adaptable solution for their sites.

The Zappshelter solution offered Advanté:

• Protection from rain and snow, ensuring work could continue uninterrupted regardless of the weather.
• A more pleasant working environment for their staff, even during hot weather.
• Increased workshop space, allowing more units to be refurbished simultaneously.

The Result:

Having the additional dry workshop space provided by the Zappshelters has helped Advanté to significantly increase the output of their sites. More welfare units can now be efficiently refurbished, ensuring they meet Advanté’s high standards before being delivered to clients.
