Qdos Event Hire Creates All-Weather Container Workshop Solution

Established in 2010, Qdos Event Hire provides high-quality temporary accommodation, welfare and toilet facilities for the events industry. With unrivalled experience, they have built a reputation for successfully delivering units to many prestigious events, films and TV shows, including, The Chelsea Flower Show, Wimbledon, Goodwood Festival of Speed and the British Grand Prix. Qdos is part of the Newship Group, a well-established privately-owned group of manufacturing, distribution and hire companies.

The Challenge:

The great British weather isn’t ideal when you have a demanding schedule of repairs and respraying to maintain! At their depot in Reading, Qdos Event Hire faced the challenge of maintaining their reconditioning schedule regardless of the unpredictable weather conditions. Their team needed a large, covered space where they could work safely and efficiently on their welfare cabins to maintain their quality appearance for high-profile clients.

The Zappshelter Solution:

Qdos Event Hire invested in a comprehensive Zappshelter solution for their Reading depot. In total, five container-mounted shelters were installed with partial end walls for extra weather protection. The installation included 4no. 14m x 12m shelters and 1no. 8m x 12m shelters, creating a series of large, protected workshop bays.
