Sunbelt Rentals Expands Depot Storage and Workshop Space in Immingham

The Company:

Sunbelt Rentals Ltd is the UK’s largest equipment rental company, providing plant, tools and specialist equipment to the construction, industrial and infrastructure sectors. With a sizeable network of depots across the country, keeping their vast inventory secure and well-maintained is a top priority for the company.

The Challenge:

As demand grew at their Immingham depot, the Sunbelt Rentals team found themselves short on covered space. They needed to quickly expand both their storage and workshop areas to keep equipment protected and provide a dry, dedicated space for maintenance work.

The team looked into several different options to solve their space shortage. Ultimately, they needed a structure that offered genuine value for money without compromising on the quality required to withstand the heavy daily use of a busy equipment hire depot.

The Solution:

Based on a balance of quality and cost, Sunbelt Rentals chose a bespoke Zappshelter setup, named “Sarah”. Our team handled the entire process, supplying and installing Sarah directly on-site to ensure a seamless build.

Sarah’s installation includes:

• One 10m wide x 6.1m long Zappshelter
• A fully enclosed design for complete weather protection and added security
• A 3m x 3m electric steel roller shutter door for easy vehicle and equipment access

The Result:

By choosing Zappshelter, Sunbelt Rentals successfully expanded their Immingham depot on budget. The fully enclosed structure now provides a secure, dry environment for both storing high-value rental equipment and carrying out essential maintenance work.
