Algeco: Welfare Cabin Maintenance Gets an Upgrade with All-Weather Workshop Solutions!

The Company:

Part of the Modulaire Group and established for over 50 years, Algeco is a leading UK provider of welfare cabins. With the largest fleet of workspace cabins in the UK, maintaining, repairing, and painting these cabins is a significant part of their operations – ensuring they are in top condition for their clients.

The Challenge:

Algeco faced a challenge at their Thurrock depot. The unpredictable British weather made it difficult to consistently and efficiently carry out essential maintenance, repair and painting work on their welfare cabins. Outdoor operations were frequently interrupted, impacting timelines and potentially the quality of work. They needed a solution to protect their staff, machinery and the cabins themselves from the elements.

The Zappshelter Solution:

Zappshelter was delighted to be approached by Algeco to address the issues at the Thurrock depot. The Result:

The Zappshelter installation at Algeco’s Thurrock depot has provided a substantial covered workshop space, totalling 46 metres wide and 18 metres deep. This generous area has allowed for:

• Lower equipment maintenance costs: machinery and equipment are shielded from the elements, reducing wear and tear.
